Eleven persons have been injured in a road accident at Dadeldhura-Baitadi. The condition of two of the injured is critical. The accident took place at Panteuda in Patan Municipality-6 of Baitadi under Dasharath Chandra Highway.
The vehicle (Ba 3 Kha 9117) heading towards Darchula from Mahendranagar met with an accident at 6:30 pm on Wednesday. The injured have been identified as Sher Bahadur Saund, 35, of Amargadhi Municipality, Dadeldhura and Bisna Joshi, 25, of Shailyasikhar Municipality-9, Darchula. They have been referred to Dhangadhi for further treatment while nine others with minor injuries are undergoing treatment at Patan Primary Health Center, said Kisan Chand, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Baitadi.
He said that it was understood that there were 17 people in the house. Others are normal, police said. Hayes has fallen about 20 meters from the road and the driver is under police control.
