Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 100 goals in international football. He became the first European player to score 100 goals for his country.
Ronaldo\’s two goals helped Portugal beat Sweden 2-0 in Group 3 of the UEFA Nations Cup in League A.
Juventus forward Ronaldo, 35, scored his first goal in the 45th minute to complete 100 goals. He was on the field for 81 minutes and scored the second goal in the 72nd minute.
He is now just eight goals away from Ali Dai\’s record for most international goals.
Ali scored 109 goals between 1993 and 2006. India\’s Sunil Chhetri has scored 72 goals and Argentina\’s Lionel Messi has scored 70 goals behind Ronaldo.
