Crops will thrive with SSP manure, the government has set a target of producing 10 million metric tonnes, this is the preparation

SSP Fertilizer Production: India is an agricultural country. A large population of the country is associated with agriculture. Farmers also get good yield by sowing good quality seeds. But for advanced farming it is also necessary to have fertile land. Soil fertility has decreased in many parts of the country. To increase soil fertility, farmers use organic and non-organic fertilizers. Some fertilizers including DAP, Urea are used in India. Now the central government has emphasized on the use of other fertilizers.

The central government is working to promote SSP fertilizer production. SSP manure is full of nutrients for the soil. Experts are also taking it as an alternative to DAP and Urea in future. Recently a program was organized regarding this. According to media reports, Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers and Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya emphasized on promotion of SSP manure. Chemicals and Fertilizers Secretary (Fertilizers), Arun Singhal said that the SSP industry has to take care of the quality of fertilizers. The farmer of the country is not in a position to suffer loss in any way. If one industry makes a mistake, then all suffer its loss. That’s why it is necessary that the SSP industry has to unite and work on quality. At present, 53 lakh metric tonnes of SSP fertilizer is being produced annually in the country. The government is trying to produce one crore metric tonnes of it annually.

Union Minister Mandaviya said that the farmers should not be deceived at all. SSP Industries made good quality fertilizers. Its supply should be ensured in the country. Whether the quality is good or not, industries will have to set up NABL certified modern laboratories. Before any product goes in the market it should be clear that there is no shortage in it. We have to win the trust of the farmers at any cost.

SSP Park to be built at Visakhapatnam and Dahej
The central government is also taking initiative to promote SSP manure. In the program, Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that there is an action plan to develop one SSP park each at Visakhapatnam (East Coast) and Dahej (West Coast) to promote the production of SSP. If the SSP industry moves forward in this direction, the Ministry of Fertilizers will also provide all possible help. This will make it easier to purchase raw materials and it will also be easier to control purchases. To meet the requirement of fertilizers in the country, the production of SSP has to be increased. Till now our dependence is also on imported phosphatic fertilizers. It has to be reduced.
