Actually, free ration was being distributed to the poor in the dyeing factory in Norris Chowringhee, Karachi, Sindh province of Pakistan. During this there was a stampede. Dozens of people died and many were injured in this. According to rescue officials and police officials of the area, three children were also killed. The relatives are searching for their loved ones after the stampede.

Stampede after crowd gathered

Police officials said that a huge crowd had gathered during the distribution of ration. At the same time, according to the rescue officials, they also got information about the fire due to leakage of petrol in the factory. Water was also seen in the streets from which it is being speculated that the factory workers tried to douse the fire. The matter of negligence did not come to the fore, so no official information about the fire was given.

Police was not aware of distribution of ration

Police officials said that they had not received any prior information regarding the distribution of ration. If he had known about it in advance, he would have made proper arrangements for it. Seven people, including the factory manager, have been detained in the case. The rescue team took the dead bodies and the injured to the nearest hospital. The condition of many people is also said to be serious.
