Cargo service will gain momentum through Amazon Air
Let us tell you that with the introduction of Amazon Air Service, cargo service will gain momentum in the country. For this, the company has partnered with the airline Quikjet. Now Amazon will use the functionality of Boeing 737-800 aircraft for this service. The service was unveiled by Telangana Industries Minister KT Rama Rao in the presence of senior Amazon officials.
This service has been started at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Giving a statement on this occasion, Amazon said that Amazon is the first company in the country which has started a separate network for freight to increase its speed. Along with this, it was also said that the company is continuously working on increasing its delivery speed.
Operation started with 2 aircraft
On this occasion, Amazon’s Vice President Akhil Saxena said that at present this service is being started through a total of two cargo planes. For this, Amazon has partnered with Quikjet. At present, the Quikjet company will take care of the planes for Amazon Air Service. After this, along with the expansion of the service, the number of aircraft will also be increased continuously. Earlier in the year 2016, Amazon also started its air network in America. It was launched with a total of 110 aircraft. Now growth is also being seen in the e-commerce sector in India as well. In such a situation, the company is continuously making new efforts to expand its transportation service.
