JEE-MAINS 2023: The country’s biggest engineering entrance exam JEE-Main is going to be held from January 24. Both the organizing body and the students are ready for the exam, but some students are upset, whose admit cards are not being downloaded. NTA has kept them in the category of Under Consideration. On the first day, on January 24, there will be examination for BE-B.Tech. A total of 9 lakh 12 thousand students have applied for this exam to be held between 9 to 12 in the morning and 3 to 6 in the afternoon. For the first session this year, 290 exam cities in India and 18 exam centers have been set up in foreign countries.

Career counseling expert Amit Ahuja told that there were many students who were given exam centers in some other city apart from the four options filled during the application. These students wrote to NTA in this regard and demanded to give exam city only from the options asked. On this, NTA kept the admit cards of all these students in the under consideration category. Now the exam is from 24th and till now the admit cards of the students appearing for the exam on 24th and 25th January have not been issued.

No special message for students
The great thing is that no special message was given to these students as to when the admit cards would be issued. The students demand that clear instructions should be given in this regard, because if the city changes, all preparations will have to be done for the exam in a day. This year the admit cards of the students appearing in the exam will be issued two days before the exam day. Similarly, the admit cards for the January 25 exam were to be issued on January 22, most of them were issued but some students were withheld.

Declaration will have to be given if there is no Aadhaar
Expert Ahuja told that for the first time this year JEE-Main application was linked to Aadhaar, so that those students whose name, date of birth and gender were not verified during the application from Aadhaar. They will have to fill the undertaking given in the admit card and take it along with them. Along with this, they will be given admission only by showing this undertaking at the time of examination, on which the signature of Antia Special Examiner will have to be submitted.

Admission will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the examination.
Career counseling expert Amit Ahuja told that students have to report at their own reporting time given on the admit card and admissions will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the examination. Lab will be allotted to the students through the bar code reader given in the admit card, as well as a three-layer mask will also be given to the students, which will be mandatory for the student to use while taking the exam. In the self-declaration format, the student will have to carry his left hand thumb impression and his own photo in the admit card. The student will have to put his signature in this format in front of the invigilator at the examination center. Students will have to bring with them Aadhaar card or any ID proof self-declaration filled admit card, transparent pen, own photo, sanitizer and transparent bottle of water.
