‘Kabaddi 4’ became the highest earning Nepali film ever, Rs 200 million cross in 16 days

Kathmandu: Popular movie ‘Kabaddi 4’ has set the record of highest grossing Nepali movie till date. The film has grossed a total of Rs 205 million till the third Saturday.

The total revenue from the Kathmandu Valley is Rs. 107.5 million and the gross collection from Mofasal is more than Rs. 93 million. Sunday’s details are yet to come.

The film had grossed Rs 187.1 million till the second week. Along with this, the film has also broken the record of highest grossing ‘Chakkapanja 3’. Deepak Raj Giri’s film has also earned Rs 200 million. Now ‘Chakkapanja 3’ has been overtaken by ‘Kabaddi 4’.

The total earnings of the Indian film ‘Baahubali 2’ in Nepal is stated to be 230 million. Kabaddi 4 is projected to surpass this Indian film record. The film is still going strong.

‘Kabaddi 4’ is also being performed in India from Friday. The construction side has stated that there is a demand for ‘Kabaddi 4’ even in Nepali speaking countries all over the world.
