Russian Pantsir Missile: An air security system has been installed at an administrative structure and the National Security Management Center of the Russian Defense Ministry in Moscow, Russia. This information has been given by Rob Lee, PhD, a senior fellow of the Eurasia Program of the Foreign Policy Research Institute. He is in the War Research Department of King’s College London. He shared pictures on Twitter, in which it can be seen that the Pantsir missile system has been installed on the roof of the eight-storey building of the Russian Ministry of Defense near the Moskva River. Several images and videos purportedly showing the Pantsir system on rooftops started circulating on social media as early as 19 January.
In a video related to this, the Pantsir Missile System has been shown, which is being installed with the help of a crane in the heart of the city. According to Google Map, this is the building of the Ministry of Education in the capital Moscow. However, official information has not been given for clear deployment. It has been proved by the Ukrainian forces that they can carry out long range attacks using different drones.
can install more missiles
The Eurasian Times previously reported that the Ukrainian Air Force attacked a Russian strategic aviation military installation in Engels on 5 December. Pictures of the missile system have emerged near Moscow, a day before Western officials are to gather at Germany’s Ramstein airfield to discuss a new army program for Ukraine. Apart from this, it can also happen that Russia can install more missiles around Moscow. These efforts are being made by Russia to save itself from the attack of Ukraine.
Russian authorities did not react
However, neither the Moscow authorities nor the Ministry of Defense gave any information regarding the installation of an air security system in the capital of Russia. At the same time, there has been no response from the authorities on the information which has come out in the media. It is being said that by installing an air security system around Moscow, the Russian Federation may respond to the growing threat of unmanned vehicle attacks on key locations within the region. The air security system is equipped with advanced radars.
