Only the farmers of Uttar Pradesh are taking the maximum installment in the country. 2.41 crore farmers of Uttar Pradesh got the 11th installment of the scheme. In the 12th installment, the number of farmers decreased to 1.79 crore. Agriculture Department officials say that the reason behind the decrease in the number of farmers is that a large number of ineligible farmers were taking advantage of the scheme. There were many such farmers too. Those who did not get e-KYC done. Now only the farmers who get e-KYC done will be able to get the benefit of the scheme.
