No e-KYC, installment of 33 lakh farmers stuck due to change of mobile number, do this work for refund

Farmers are afraid that as the 12th installment is stuck. Lest his 13th installment gets stuck. Central government officials say that without updation the farmers will not be able to get the money.

Till now it was necessary to have e-KYC to get the installment. But just being there is not enough. Now the mobile number can also become a major reason for non-payment of installment. Actually, for this reason the installment of 33 lakh farmers of Uttar Pradesh has got stuck. E-KYC could not be completed due to change of phone number. Second reason Aadhaar card link not found. The officers of the Agriculture Department are now updating the mobile numbers by going door to door.

Officials of the Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department say that the mobile numbers of the farmers are linked to the Aadhaar card. Many farmers in the state have changed those numbers. The numbers of another company have been taken in its place. Now OTP goes to the registered number to verify. But if the OTP does not come due to the closure of the number, then the e-KYC of the farmers is not being done. A campaign is being run to make farmers aware.

2.41 crore farmers got the 11th installment
Only the farmers of Uttar Pradesh are taking the maximum installment in the country. 2.41 crore farmers of Uttar Pradesh got the 11th installment of the scheme. In the 12th installment, the number of farmers decreased to 1.79 crore. Agriculture Department officials say that the reason behind the decrease in the number of farmers is that a large number of ineligible farmers were taking advantage of the scheme. There were many such farmers too. Those who did not get e-KYC done. Now only the farmers who get e-KYC done will be able to get the benefit of the scheme.
