Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy claimed on Tuesday (January 24) that all grid stations supplying electricity have been restored. All 1,112 grid stations were restored across the country within 24 hours. Pakistan’s Ministry of Energy tweeted in this regard along with a list of grid stations, which showed that power was back at 6:25 am on Tuesday.

There was a power failure in many cities
Due to a fault in the national grid in Pakistan, the lights had gone off in many cities of the country and people were in the dark. According to the Ministry of Energy, there was a fault in the national grid on Monday at around 7.30 am, after which people had to face the problem of blackout. However, according to media reports, people of some areas in Karachi are complaining that power supply has not been fully restored yet.

Power has been restored in many important establishments including airports, hospitals, water pumping stations. The work of restoring power supply is still going on in many areas. Severe power crisis last year as well
It is worth mentioning that in the month of October last year, there was a situation of severe power crisis in Pakistan. During this also, due to technical fault in the power distribution system, people in many cities were forced to remain in darkness for about 12 hours.
