Partap Singh Bajwa Remark Over Sunil Jakhar: Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa has targeted BJP leader Sunil Jakhar, terming him as a ‘mole’. On Saturday (January 21), Bajwa said that even when Sunil Jakhar was in the Congress, many people knew that he was a ‘Bhediya’ of the BJP who was working to destabilize the party.
Bajwa’s comment came a day after Jakhar accused Bajwa of calling Manmohan Singh a ‘pseudo’ prime minister.
Statement of Pratap Singh Bajwa
Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Bajwa said in a statement, “Even when Jakhar was in the Congress party, everyone within the party knew the fact that he was a stooge and spy of the BJP.”
Bajwa alleged, “His close association with Captain Amarinder Singh was also well known and how both of them secretly colluded with the BJP to destabilize the Congress party is no secret.”
‘Don’t want Rahul Gandhi to be projected as PM’
Bajwa said, “First of all, Jakhar and two-faced hypocrites like him in the BJP tried to malign the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ by raising the finger on unimportant issues like the color of Rahul Gandhi’s turban. Bajwa said, “Now the same people are in awe of the success of the Yatra and do not want Rahul Gandhi to be projected as the Prime Minister.”
Jakhar-Amarinder Singh also targeted on Ram Rahim
The MLA from Qadian also criticized Jakhar and former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh for their silence on granting 40 days parole to rape-convict Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Ram Rahim Singh was released from Sunaria Jail in Rohtak, Haryana on Saturday after getting parole for 40 days.
BJP-Akali Dal had made this allegation on Bajpa
The BJP and the Shiromani Akali Dal on Friday targeted Bajwa, alleging that he had insulted Sikhs and the people of Punjab by calling Manmohan Singh a ‘pseudo’ prime minister.
