Surajkund Mela 2023: Preparations have started for the huge Surajkund fair to be held in India. This fair is going to start from February 3. This time the International Surajkund Fair will be grander and bigger than the previous years. This information has been given by MD Sinha, Secretary General of the Tourism Department of Haryana. On Friday, Sinha held a review meeting with the officials of different departments regarding the preparations for this international fair starting from February 3.
During this, he said that this year’s Surajkund fair will be more grand and bigger than the previous years. Sinha said that in view of the possibility of a large number of tourists coming to the fair, this time full focus will be on bringing transparency in the sale of tickets in the fair. According to the report of the news agency PTI, Sinha also told that there will be a hologram on every ticket, so that there is no possibility of preparing fake tickets. He said that due to the G-20 summit meeting, this time the number of foreign tourists will double in the fair. Ambassadors of countries associated with G-20 are going to come on 9th February.
Foreign artists from 45 countries will participate
Sinha said that this international Surajkund fair is a symbol of India’s rich cultural heritage. In such a situation, there should not be any kind of deficiency in its preparations. He said that foreign artists from 45 countries are expected to participate in Surajkund fair this year, whose number will be double as compared to previous years.
8 states of Northeast will participate
According to the information, 8 states of the Northeast are participating in this fair. All the artists of all these states will participate in this fair. A large number of special people will also be present in the fair. Chief Ministers and Governors of 8 states of the Northeast will also participate in this. Apart from this, a group of foreign journalists will also visit the Surajkund Mela premises for a day. Sinha has ordered to make concrete arrangements for parking management during the fair.
