BIRATNAGAR: Two persons were arrested from Biratnagar on Thursday evening with the drug brown heroin (brown sugar). Both the arrested are Indians. One of the arrested is Vikas Thakur, 18, of Araria Sonamani, police said. The identity of the 14-year-old boy has been kept secret.
Morang Police Spokesperson DSP Deepak Shrestha informed that they were arrested from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-17 Materuwa at around 5:30 pm while riding a motorcycle with Indian number plate. According to him, 3.6 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the detainees.
Police are going to file a case against both the family members under the Narcotics Act.
