Pakistan: The difficulties of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan are increasing. His political career seems to be in danger. Actually, Imran Khan’s political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) can be declared a banned organization. This has been indicated by Pakistan’s Home Minister Rana Sanaullah. Legal action can be initiated to ban PTI.
The Home Minister of Pakistan has said that before taking action against Imran Khan’s party, consultations are being held with the experts of the government. This statement of Sanaullah has come at a time when the police have seized weapons and petrol bombs from the Lahore residence of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan.
There will be a discussion on banning PTI
Speaking to reporters in Lahore on Saturday, Rana said the government would hold consultations with its legal team to assess whether the process to declare the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party as a banned group could be initiated. However, he clarified that officially banning a political party ultimately rests with the courts.
Sufficient evidence found from Imran Khan’s house
Sanaullah further said that terrorists were hiding in Zaman Park. A huge quantity of arms, petrol bombs etc. have been recovered from PTI chief’s house which is enough evidence to file a case against PTI for declaring it a terrorist organization.
Let us tell you that on Saturday, there was a fierce commotion outside the Islamabad judicial complex, when Imran Khan reached the court to attend the hearing of the Toshakhana case. During this, there was a clash between the party workers and the police. Police investigated at Imran Khan’s house in Lahore. His wife was alone at home. Then the PTI chief had questioned the action of the police. During this, the police claimed to have seized weapons and petrol bombs from Khan’s house.
